A fresh face for Michigan

I created the MI Says Hi logo with the same mission in mind as all my other endeavors: originality. Michigan t-shirts and stickers and you-name-it are out there with every variation of our amazing state you can imagine. Clearly, the love for our pleasant peninsula(s) runs deep. So naturally all of the "mittens" and "high fives" and other takes on the unique shape and characteristics of the land we call home have been done, right?

Luckily, I don't do been done. So instead of focusing on Michigan's shape I tapped its personality. It's friendly. Cool. Chill. Welcoming. And ready to offer all kinds of adventures for everyone from sightseers to snow shoers. What better way to capture it all than a smiling, sunglasses sporting, waving state of Michigan? Hand drawn on my trusty first-generation iPad Pro, and now available on a growing line of t-shirts, hoodies, hats and more. There's so much that's unique about Michigan. Shouldn't there be a one-of-a-kind (un)official logo to match? Check. Now what'll you pick to Wave to the World?
